Chazara kaufmanni (Erschoff, 1874)

Type locality: "...circa Maracanda" [Zeravshansky Mts., Uzbekistan]

Range: From Kopet-Dagh to Dzhungarsky Alatau

Habitat: Steppe-clad slopes and sparse woodlands at 1,000-2,500 mtrs

Flight Period: July to August

Subspecies:

ssp. doroshkini (Yakovlev, 2003) - Mongolia;

ssp. obscurior (Staudinger, 1887) - Tian-Shan, Tarbagatai, the S. Altai, Kazakhstan;

ssp. sieversi (Christoph, 1885) - Kopet-Dagh.

Note: Chazara kaufmanni (Erschoff, 1874) – the species was indicated (ssp. sartha (Staudinger, 1886)) for the PATCA-KG-area in the Cadastre (Vol. 3, 1996; p. 228), but was not confirmed by the later investigation, and definitely clarified specific area is comparatively far out of Inner Alai (Toropov & Zhdanko 2006; p. 368: map).
