Pyronia bathsheba (Fabricius, 1793)
Type locality: ‘Barbaris’, Morocco.
Range: Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, Portugal, Spain & South France up to Var.
Habitat: Grassy, bushy places often in light woodland between 300 to 1,700mtrs.
Flight Period: Late April to mid July.
