Pyronia tithonus (Linnaeus, 1771)
Type locality: Germany.
Range: Entire Central and South Europe except South Italy, and the Mediterranean Islands, except for South Corsica and Sardinia.
Habitat: Grassy, flowery, bushy, often damp and humid places from sea level up to 1,700mtrs.
Flight Period: Early July to early September.
